A few thoughts here:
1) The victim may want to carry the child to term because it may provide the avenue to stop the incest; it is proof. This is the victims choice.
2) The abuser may force the victim, who is underage, to have the abortion because it will hide his abuse. Here's an example of how parental consent can be a tricky subject.
3) Adoption is always a viable alternative, particularly for white babies with no health issues. Other babies are not so lucky (the age of the mother and the incestuous relationship already increases the potential that this baby may not be one of the lucky ones). By the way, there are approximately 123,000 children available for adoption through foster care in the United States right now. Where are all those willing families that we hear so much about? Guess what, for all those childless couples bemoaning the high costs of adoption, adoption through foster care doesn't cost anything. In fact, the state pays you until the adoption is finalized and some children qualify for additional funding based on their needs.
At any rate, no matter what your beliefs are this is a serious subject that deserves more than a snappy cliche' for a response. Not only that, I'm not buying her "counseling story."
And I have been in the situation of counseling young girls, not 13 but 15, who have had very at risk, difficult pregnancies. And my counsel was to look for some alternatives, which they did. And they found that they had made what was really a lemon situation into lemonade. Well one girl in particular moved in with the adoptive parents of her child, and they both were adopted. Both of them grew up, one graduated from high school, the other had parents that loved her and she also graduated from high school. And I'll tell you the little girl who was born from that very poor situation came to me when she was 13 and said 'I know what you did thank you for saving my life.'

I'm not calling her a liar, but even if this story is true I do believe that it is conveniently embellished.
Just as convenient as her "counseling" story is her cliche' response to the backlash from Harry Reid, blame Obama:
At a time when the Federal Government is already burning through our tax dollars, the Obama Administration and Harry Reid are using federal funds to pay for abortions via the abolition of the Mexico City Policy and the passage of Obamacare.
-Sharron Angle
Needless to say she's a few balloons short of a parade (see, got my own cliche's).
Some suggestions that she might use in future interviews:
Cheer up, it's not the end of the world.
Look at the light at the end of the tunnel.
Don't rock the boat, baby.
Let it all hang out.
Feeling bad is just a new sensation.
Don't worry, be happy.
The show must go on.
Of course, I could go on forever, just see for yourself at Cliche' Finder!

What a sick bitch. I read an article about an abortion dr. who recognized one of her clients as one of the women who had protested loudly and rudely outside of her clinic - until she got in trouble. I bet most of these people are total hypocrites.
Cliche finder! Ha, that's a new one for me!
People like this (especially women who say such ignorant things) scare me! I mean really, lemonade out of incest??? Come on, Lady!
Isn't that the Chicken lady? The one who wanted us to pay for medical bills with livestock? In trade?
